Just some stuff you probably didn't know, but I always think about

There are no references to Heaven and Hell

Because the Swords Universe was created by Kargob, there is only the Godrealm, where your soul goes to be judged. Because of this, characters never say things like "What the hell?" They shouldn't be saying "What the heck?" either and I've always intended to go back and fix this one episode:

I get asked to include Angel Swords a LOT for some reason (I suppose people feel this "fixes" the fact that there are Demon Swords), but there are no angels in the Swords Universe either. Which also makes this episode a bit strange:

The Underworld is just the world

The New Zealand inspired setting, White Sword, is a cloud kingdom. When they talk about the Underworld they're just talking about where everybody else lives.

Swords has alien races in it

And you've seen them before. And there are Elves on the moon.

Humans, Dwarves, Gnomes and Giant Horses all have a common ancestor : Krog

Krog the First Human is also the originator of all those other races, who diverged during the Dinosword Era.

Grelf is Immortal but the other Elves are not

King Grelf is millions of years old but each successive generation of Elves has lived a shorter lifespan as the population increases. There is only so much of Greg's divine grace to go around. Current day Elves live a few hundred years, which is still longer than most other races.

Choplets Are The Lingering Souls Of Monsters That Used To Be The Souls Of People

When a person is judged in the Godrealm they might reincarnate as a monster. But a Choplet is the lingering soul of a dead monster that didn't return to the Godrealm, taking a new shape. And when a Choplet dies, the soul just fades away! So maybe joining with a Lich isn't so bad after all.

Kargob Is The Biggest Lich

Kargob sits in the Godrealm and absorbs the souls of those he deems worthy to reintegrate. Everyone else is reincarnated for another go around.

Wraiths Are Cursed Ghosts

There are Ghosts and there are Wraiths, and the latter are bound to the world by a curse. The rules for them are a little different.

Mystery Swords tap the power of one of the Seven Demon Realms, Endless Chaos

Dwarves figured out how to make money generating endless, random swords. Once a Mystery Sword has been pulled from its sheath and the material has come across from the Chaos Realm, its causality hardens and the blade will remain that shape forever. Well, probably.

The Spinning Blade Man Is Still Going
