What a ride. What else is there to say?Now... back to finding a purpose!

I've been tooling around in RPG Maker again. Opening it up to characters like Quest Sprout and Cutbert gives me a lot more possibilities than just making a Choplet game - so this is starting to feel like a stronger direction already.

Zest Sprout is just a placeholder, but the format I'm thinking of for this project is a lot like the comics - introduce each character separately in a small, self-contained adventure (45 minutes feels like a sweet spot), and then they are unlocked in the main campaign. Which means that adding in more and more characters like Zest Sprout isn't a problem at all - it's just more options to build your own epic adventure.

I can also leverage the existing artwork to make cutscenes! So there's potential to tell every storyline in order with extra dialogue and playable combat. What a good incentive to remaster Bread Knight's storyline and then make him a playable character too.

According to the poll, you want the comic slightly more. I'll keep that in mind.

My current contract ends in 3 weeks and I really need to lock in to get everything done - but after that I'd like to pursue the possibility of making Comics + RPG my only focus.

There are other things happening - I've signed my next Makeship contract. Dazzling Dungeon Decks was cancelled on GameFound and relaunches on Kickstarter this week (not my decision - I'd appreciate help spreading the word when its live again). The gears are once again turning on getting the last Swords: Cut The Deck content done. I need to start preparing physical signage for the Swords booth at Wellycon. And secrets.
