Last art of 2025! I had a tough time deciding on the posing for this not because I didn't know what to do, I was just spoiled for choice. I'm definitely going to revisit this one because I can't get enough of them just snuggling up 😭
I know you know this, but you deserve to hear it from me often-- you all have made all this possible this year. You've illuminated a path forward in my art career that is in many ways an expression of my truest self. Thank you for all your sweet (and very parched) messages. I've had a running album on my phone for years now where I save particularly nice or meaningful things people have said to me so I can look at it when I need encouragement; it is overflowing with yours. I've loved, loved having this little community with you and I've enjoyed your company so much.
With a lot of the joy comes a lot of new and particularly threatening challenges, especially with the attacks on artistic freedom this year from both the government and payment processors. The work will continue but I'm hopeful. I'm made hopeful by all of us speaking out and demanding this kind of tyranny be rejected. There's been so much unfair struggle this year and too many good people getting the short end. I hope 2026 is brighter for all of us. Happy new year. ❤️
