Thanks for bearing with our silence lately, we've been busy with the final tasks leading up to the 1.0 release. Releasing games is hard...

Anyway, we finished Mahou Arms's opening movie and wanted to share it (it's below). We also wanted to discuss our plans post 1.0, outfit DLC, and how we plan to sort out delivery of this stuff. For those of you that have pledged enough over the lifetime of this Patreon campaign to buy the Digital Deluxe version outright, we want to make sure you don't have to buy it again.

Story Expansion

We'd like to add more story content post 1.0. More updates on this will come in the future as content becomes ready to show.

Patch 1.1 - Customization and Founder's Outfit

Unfortunately we couldn't get these in by 1.0, but character customization and the founder's outfit (image below) will arrive in patch 1.1. We expect this patch to drop within 1-2 months of release. The Founder's outfit will be included for free for everyone that bought the game or pledged to the Patreon before July 27th. It will also be purchasable as a separate DLC for everyone else.

The four additional planned outfits will release over the course of a year, as we work on the free story expansion.

Versions & DLC:

Mahou Arms comes in a Standard Edition and a Digital Deluxe edition on Steam. The Digital Deluxe edition includes all of the planned DLC. If you have a lifetime pledge of $50 or more on Patreon, your version will be considered the Digital Deluxe edition and you will get all DLC delivered through Steam keys/the Launcher.

This upgrades the Standard Edition to the contents of the Digital Deluxe edition if you decide to buy the base game and upgrade later.

Planned Localization: Chinese and Japanese

Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese languages will be added sometime post 1.0. Additional languages may be added in the future.

Additional Note

Since people have been asking, we can confirm that if you buy (or are entitled to via Patreon support) the digital deluxe edition on Steam now (which currently includes the base game and soundtrack), the additional DLC content will be added in later.
