It's time for some housekeeping. Here's what's new:
New navigation menu with an expandable menu for user-specific links and a new search button.
Unified search feature which replaces all existing searches and puts both user and insight game results on a single page.
This update is a stepping stone towards the upcoming features I am working on, starting with the activity feed which is coming soon.
Search has been a mess for a while, with various search bars across the site behaving vastly differently. This new search finds both games and users that fit the query and sorts them by relevance. This search will see further improvements according to user feedback, and/or when we further improve game pages to connect all information on a game (basic info, insight data, available achievements, personal achievements, community stuff), which is another feature being worked on.
This new search is also accessible on every page on the site, which called for an expansion of the navigation menu, which was at full capacity with 5 items (due to the mobile version of the site). So, navigation has been reworked and the "Profile" and "Dashboard" links combines into an expandable "Me" menu which has room to grow as new features are released over time.
While expanded support for constantly evolving games has been pushed back a bit, the aforementioned activity feed as well as expanded Origin support are coming along nicely and should be launching soon.
