Devlog and Version 0.5.3.0 Release
DESCRIPTION

In this update, we have significantly improved the game in several areas at once. Content is now more accessible, the interface is much more convenient, and the game itself runs noticeably more stable.

We paid a lot of attention to making the gameplay feel smoother. Transitions between states, loading, UI behavior, and saves now work more reliably and predictably. We also added many quality-of-life improvements to make the game easier to play.

But there is something else important to mention. This patch is not just a set of visible changes. A large part of the work was focused on preparing the game for the next major updates. We implemented and reworked many internal systems. Of course, you will not see tens of thousands of rewritten lines of code, hahaha, but this is exactly what will allow us to add new content faster and at a higher quality in the near future.

Right now, the game is actively being prepared for further development. We are working on a new UI, seriously reworking the visual side, preparing an updated look for the mini-games, and continuing to bring the project to the level of quality needed for its future Steam release.

For example, the runner will be noticeably transformed and improved in the future. We are already preparing updated visuals for it and improving its foundation so that the mini-game feels more complete, more beautiful, and more enjoyable. We also want to add more interactivity to the demoness’s castle, so this update included a lot of preparation on the code side, scene logic, and visual elements.

The visual rework is also actively continuing separately. We are updating backgrounds, small windows, visual effects, interface elements, mini-games, and the overall presentation of scenes. Some of the new CGs are already at the line art stage, and soon you will be able to see more fresh art. Future isometric poses have also been fully planned out. We are confident that they will pleasantly surprise you in the next updates.

Changes:

Updated isometric locations, reactions, backgrounds, and environmental visual elements.

Redrew 4 old backgrounds and refined some background environmental elements.

Improved small windows and enhanced the overall visuals of orgasm scenes.

Added fluids in various poses and mini-windows.

Added additional animations for hard mode.

Added an X-ray window that appears in Marcus’s reaction area.

Added manual saves and loading through slots, finally, and also improved autosaving and the overall save-loading logic.

Added a news feed to the main menu. Now you will always be able to learn about new patches and news.

Fixed a bug in doe locations. Clues now turn blue, so you can immediately understand whether a dialogue is important or not.

Added hints for doe to the glossary as well.

Added a knowledge base. There, you can always learn how to play and what is going on in general. These hints unlock gradually as new mechanics appear.

Updated the music in the game. Old tracks were improved, and new ones were added.

Now a huge number of actions performed in the game have their own sound. Buttons, clicks, hovering, and the overall sound consistency have become better.

Improved the launch and reliability of the visual novel and timelines.

Added an animation speed setting for the isometric game. It also slows down or speeds up the drain of the main meters, including stamina, arousal, enslavement, and other parameters.

Optimized performance in isometric mode.

Updated mini-games, including runner, massage, and domination. Improved visuals, UX, and balance, and also prepared them for further rework.

Continued cleaning up and polishing the UI so that screens are neater and more pleasant to use.

Fixed many annoying bugs, including a bug when changing the time of day and an issue with the pause button in the runner.

Improved transitions between game states and scenes. There should now be noticeably fewer silly crashes.

What’s Next?

We are already preparing the foundation for the next major changes. In the future, you can expect an updated interface, further reworking of mini-games, improvements to the runner, more interactivity in the demoness’s castle, new visual effects, updated CGs, and an expansion of isometric content.

Many things have already been planned and are in progress. Some art is being lined, some visuals are being prepared for implementation, and some mechanics have already been implemented in code. So the next updates should not only add new content, but also noticeably change the overall feel of the game.

We want the project to become more beautiful, more convenient, more stable, and richer in content. Preparation for Steam is also strongly influencing the current stage of development. We are revising the visuals, interface, presentation, and overall quality of the game so that it looks more cohesive and professional.

The change list will be expanded because this is an alpha version of the game, and naturally, it has bugs and errors. We will be grateful if, noticing them, you let us know about them in Discord!
