Here's the prerelease animatic for our upcoming (unnamed) Furry cartoon, featuring Bluey π
SOMETHING TO NOTE BEFORE YOU JUDGE US HARSHLY:
Almost all of the voice acting here is TEMP. We try to use our own voices as often as possible for these cartoons, but some things are just out of Tom and my's range, like convincing Templar voices.
However, lining up a real man that can convincingly fill these roles takes time, so we usually begin production using temporary voice acting so theres audio to animate with. These takes are then sent to the voice actor, who copies the line delivery in their cool manly voice. The proper voices are then dubbed in later towards the end of production, and the animation is retimed as necessary.
And of course, there is no music or sound effects yet!

A couple other notes about this stage of production:
It was cool to return to the shadowy council of Templars to set up the premise of this toon. I LOVED that whole environment from Furry: First Contact and its cool to get more mileage out of that background art. For the beginning of the animatic you'll see a lot was accomplished with screenshots from the previous toon, as we're reusing those shots and characters
Similarly, screenshots from Bluey, including the intro and the shots of their house were used for the animatic. These will obviously be redrawn and redesigned for our parody
Like the Templar voice acting, we'll also need to replace Bluey's voice acting. An Australian friend of ours leant us the voice of his daughter but she ultimately sounded too young for the role

This cartoon is now almost completely finished, but is taking some more time to button up than we'd hoped. I think we're looking at a release next weekend, or potentially the next.
