Brothers! Welcome to yet another Flashgitz Friday! There’s just so many things I want to talk about today. I could talk a little bit about Space King 3 and how the animatic is 2 weeks away from completion. I could talk about how people are getting their hoodies in and they don’t look like they’re being bukkake’d by factory workers. I could even just phone it in and show you guys a bunch of background art from Space King episode 3 so I can call it a day and get back to work. But because you guys are my favorite fans in the whole-wide world, I decided against boring you guys with mundane little life updates. Instead, I’ve prepared some super special, mouth-watering, cosmically-orgasmic bts footage from Space King 2 that you guys are going to coom to. I hope you enjoy it, because it was a lot of work making others export this for me.
1. Animatic 2. Animation 3. Backgrounds 4. Compositing/ VFX . It almost looks 3D if you open your mouth and shake your fist in front of it.
Let me give you a quick, condescending refresher on some of our departments. The animatic department plans the movements of the characters, backgrounds, and corresponding camera movements. The animation department animates the characters and objects following the animatic. The background department designs and paints the background where the characters will be existing. And the compositing department takes all of the separate elements, like the background, animation, and VFX, and combines them to make a complete scene. They also adjust the scene’s lighting to unify everything.

The character acting was very important in this scene because of how Hatemonger reacts to Exsanguinator dodging the bugs. The little baby bug splatters were also important.
Did you know that the bugs are meant to look like red blood cells? Does this drone-footage make it more obvious?
It took a lot of work to make our worthless medicae look like a badass.
The shot above was fucking crazy late-stage addition from Don. I think it took Don and our comp lead two days and an all nighter to get this done from start to finish. At least it looks sick as fuck.
Another single mother vanquished. The impact frame at the end really ties it together.
It’s easy to get caught up in the Sisyphean process of cartoons. Sometimes it can feel like a never-ending list of tasks. Sometimes you pull a few all-nighters to get a bug-zapper just right. Even though running projects like these is an insane feat for an internet company, what we end up with at the end is a sick-ass cartoon that everyone can feel proud of before moving onto the next one. It’s because of you brothers and greedy brothers that we’re still able to keep working on Space King. I hope you guys buckle up because Episode 3 is going to have some real sweet stuff in it.I guess I can’t just tell you guys that without showing something off.. FINE! You guys twisted my arm. Here’s some concepts for a weapon that will be showcased in Episode 3.
A SOUL CANNON. Could it be for shooting souls or does it use souls as projectiles?
