We’ve been making great strides in Space King 5’s progress and I’m very excited to show you what we accomplished! But before we get to that, I like to check in on what YOU guys accomplished! Luckily, Space King fans are fweakin’ epic, so each week I’m blown away by the things you guys whip up! Like this painted Psycho Warrior I found on Reddit!

Brothers, this week I have some fat and girthy Space King updates to share with you! Over the last week, we’ve knocked out a lot of animation and compositing for episode 5. At this point in production, our animators are shrimping over their desks to get this cartoon fully animated, taking no breaks except to eat (which I still consider too generous). The scenes they’ve been working so hard on are finally coming together and I’m not gonna lie, brotatos, it’s looking pretty fucking sweet.
Because I want you all to get that same tingly feeling I do when I see cool shit, I’ve included some finished shots below, plus some shots that are still being worked on. Get out that popcorn or lotion or whatever you use when you watch Space King gifs.

It’s all coming together and it’s going to be BEAUTIFUL. Stunning. EPIC, even! I think that’s the third time I used the word “epic” in this blogpost. We need more time to cook up this episode before it’s fit for human consumption, so be patient and hang on, brothers! It’ll all be worth it in the end. But if you’re having trouble sitting still, we have weekly episodes of Tom and Don coming, and this week, we have a pretty good one in store for you!
