[Lurker] Temple of the Moons

Hello adventurers!

The Temple of the Moons presents a grand liturgical hall constructed in a style that synthesizes ancient monumentalism with refined celestial geometry. I wanted to create a monument to my own setting's lunar religions, and spent some time on this ancient - but well preserved - temple.

Lunar veneration represents one of the most enduring cross-cultural phenomena in human history. As the primary nocturnal light source and a reliable chronometer for agricultural and migratory cycles, the moon has historically dictated the rhythm of civilization.

Key Features

The Six Reincarnations: The central axis of the temple features a series of six crystalline floor sigils, culminating in a seventh focal point at the orrery. These can represent the various lunar phases or the distinct moons of a multi-satellite system, serving as the spiritual heart of the structure.

The Hagiographic Niches: Flanking the central aisle are ornate alcoves containing statues of venerated heroes and prophets.

The Golden Orrery: Situated at the far eastern terminus is a massive, complex mechanical orrery. This brass and gold instrument is designed to track and predict the alignment of celestial objects, functioning for both ritualism as well as astronomy.

Crystalline Environment: The temple is nestled within a vibrant, otherworldly landscape of iridescent flora and jagged crystal outcroppings. Is it the proximity of the temple that influences the environment, or is it the other way around?
