“Heh… you’ve got guts, don’t you?” Mauga lets out that deep, amused laugh, stepping closer until his massive shadow swallows you in the warm Samoan evening air. “Most people come all the way to Samoa just hoping they can survive keeping up with me.”
He hooks an arm around your shoulders, grinning wide and shameless.
“But you?” He bumps his forehead lightly against yours. “You show up in my home, drink my booze, steal all my attention… and now you wanna take charge too?”
Another laugh rumbles from his chest — warm, teasing, completely into it.
“Alright, handsome. Tonight, I’ll let you call the shots.”
His eyes narrow with playful challenge.
“Just don’t freeze up on me when you realize what you’re handling.”
