Being on another excavation, Lara helped an African tribe. She did a lot for the village and befriended a young girl named Zuri. In gratitude, she helped Lara with her search for clues to the mysteries of the world. And in her spare time, Zuri introduced Lara to the traditions of their tribe.
One day she decided to hold a rite of passage "Poes Vriend," which Zuri said meant "best friend" in their tribe's language. Lara didn't know what the ritual was, but she was looking forward to it.
