Hello you lovely Deviants,Gift of Hedone - Playtest 003A.1 for the basic Inventory Management and Equipment is Live!
The playtest will end 28/02/26
This Playtest is primarily testing the following things:
equipping and unequipping gear
picking up and dropping gear
Ensuring the stat changes apply when in combat

You will need to be able to spawn enemies for this playtest - please see the below details.
Additionally, I have added some more subclass and affinity variants to ensure the stat changes and affinity and subclass match ups are all working.
Important Details regarding Keyboard/Controller - Enemies will be manually spawned by you via the Keyboard. (Whilst you will be able to play and attack with a controller - unfortunately you will need a keyboard to summon enemies for testing.)
You will find instructions on how to summon/spawn under the "Summon Enemy" menu in the pause screen:
You can open the Inventory screen by Press "i" on the keyboard or "RB" on a controllerAlso, the sprites for the items are just placeholders - the are from a free asset pack jusit so I had something to work with.

PLEASE REMEMBER - these playtests will likely be underwhelming for most, as you are just testing very specific things, - Most of you will likely be done or bored within a few minutes.My game is only for Windows PC, but if you run into any issues trying to open the playtest file, please comment below and I will respond, do not send me a DM - that way in case others are having the same issue they can see a fix.Please also know if there happens to be issues that cause a large number of people to have difficulty playtesting, I will be happy to revise the end date of the playtest.
And if I said I fixed a bug and you managed to still find the bug, that's a good thing - at the end of the day, as it means there were other ways to replicate the bug that I had not considered.

This ZIP file contains the Playtest_001B build of my game Gift of Hedone created by me.
The game was exported directly from Unity using official Unity build tools.
No third-party executables, installers, or additional programs were added after export.
The ZIP only contains the game files needed to run the test build — nothing else.
The file was scanned for viruses using Bitdefender Antivirus before uploading.
