Hello you wonderful deviants,I wanted to get your input on different types of possible mini games that happen when you "interact" with certain characters.So as some of you may know, and others may not, I do plan to have an option of the animation to just play out without any input, and then there will be the actual game mechanic version where you do interact.I wanted to see if there were any other types other than the below you can think of that may work when "interacting" in the comments.
Button Mashing - for example, intentionally trying to finish first, or maybe trying not to finish first.
Button Patterns - maybe for when you are eating out, you need to press the buttons in the right order.
Timed Button Pressing, - (i.e pressing the button at the right time - but where you press the button in the range is different each time) - could be related to consensual "slapping of the cake" at the right time for example.
Rhythm based Pressing - Similar to the above - (but its more rhythm based consistent pressing that maybe speeds up or slow down)
The purpose/outcome of the mini games would depend on who you are interacting with. But I would love to hear any feedback, suggestions, or questions you may have.
