Hello you lovely deviants,Firstly, All is good, all is well! Just Apologies in advance because this is a longer post,Now that I'm really getting into the heart of coding, I wanted to discuss what sort of content to expect to see more of regarding the Game on here. I wanted to do this to be transparent, and ensure it's something you still want to stay subscribed for, or not. And if not, that is totally fine. It is your time and money, and I have incredibly grateful for your support.Previously, I have tried to split content posts pretty evenly between the art/animation side of the game, and then polls and text based updates.With more and more of my time right now involved in coding, I just wanted to let you know that for the Tuesday and Thursday posts, expect to see more text heavy posts around how game mechanics will work, asking for more specific feedback on how the code is currently/actually working -and slightly less animations and character designs. (These can still include screenshots or game Engine Unity captures and GIFs, so they wont always just be text to clarify)For example, some weeks moving forward I may only have code or bug fixing updates - such as end of last week, making some changes and preparing for what the next Playtest will be, I broke my Inventory system haha - so that was fun)There will absolutely still be posts about NPC designs or "interactions" but whilst I'm starting to work on more fundamental and complex (for me) mechanics - that is where the larger portion of my available time is going right now, as I want to try and ensure I have frequent and steady playtests coming out for you all to prove I'm working on it and you can see the tangible progress.UwU Pixels (The other animator working on this project - doing a lot of the actual combat animations) is still working on those, and expect to see more of those pretty steadily.But I wanted to make this post as I said to try and set expectations right.I will still be doing my Wednesday miscellaneous Jiggly Pixels animations and characters - that's not going anywhere. Just that the Tuesday and Thursday posts may change a bit.
