Hello you lovely deviants, I did a post recently about how Leveling Up will work - which you can read HERE I wanted to get your feedback on how EXP would be distributed to your gear.
So, firstly, this will be character specific and based on equipped gear - ie (which ever character you are currently playing once they defeat an enemy the EXP from that enemy would apply to that specific characters equipped gear Exception to this would be bosses (which i want to apply to all current party members) However, I wanted your feedback and input on is when you do get EXP for your gear, how should it be distributed across your gear. Option 1 - its a flat calculation regardless of how much gear is equipped. So if an enemy gives 300 EXP, each bit of gear would get 300 EXP Option 2 - Amount of Gear Equipped, distributed evenly. Using 300 EXP again, if you had 6 pieces of gear equipped, each bit of gear would get 50 EXP (300 divided by 6) Buy if you had 3 bits of gear equipped, each bit of gear would get 100 EXP This would provide a degree of risk if you wanted to level up certain gear quicker, as you would need to sacrifice stats from having all gear equipped Option 3 - Similar to 2 in the sense it is based on amount of gear equipped - but instead of an even split, its just slightly less based on how many pieces of gear you have equipped For example, using 300 EXP, if you had one bit of gear, you would get 300 EXP on that gear, if you had 3 bits of gear, it would be about 250 EXP per piece. If you had 5, 220 EXP per piece, and if you had all 6, it would be 200 (these are just random numbers - but the balance and amount can be adjusted) Which option would you prefer?
