Context:
Why is it that everytime Cordelia opens her mouth it always feels like you’re bracing for a storm? And in this case the storm is how your best friends will react to this sudden revelation of you having a girlfriend not too long after you just got rejected. What you’re worried about the most is how V is going to react. But before you could explain anything, both V and Soleil were already congratulating you and expressing how happy they are for you. You could only nod and say thanks to their good wishes but you can definitely tell that V can sense that there’s something off, she’s always had a knack for taking notice of the small things. Before you could retreat from the situation, Soleil invites both you and Cordelia to eat lunch with them. V of course, back this decision in her own way…She’s definitely going to grill you the moment she finds that chance….All you could do is prepare yourself for it….
