Context:
You could swear you heard her say those words but you still couldn’t believe it. It came right from her own mouth. You don’t want to believe her. You refuse to. She might be a bit crazy but she’s not crazy enough to take another person’s life, especially not her mother. You could feel your heartbeat racing and your hands shaking, you were looking down when she said those words so you try to look up to see her. No. She’s lying. She’s obviously lying. Anyone who knows her truly could definitely tell. That pained expression as if carrying a weight that’s been burdening her for years. She’s self sabotaging on purpose. But why? What could be the reason for someone like her to be doing this? You may not know the reason for now but you’ll find out. One thing is for sure though, Cordelia is a lot of things but she’s definitely not a murderer. You’ve already grown to love this crazed ball of madness, there’s no way in hell that something like this is going to make you back down. If she thinks this is enough to push you away then you’ll just have to pull her back in, whatever it takes.
