hey. so this post is gonna be super short. I actually meant to mention this is in last week's post!
A common complaint with Rejuv is that you get access to Mega Evolution far too late. I was never a big fan of Mega Evolution so I guess my bias was at play when I decided to drop it in game. Also I genuinely didn't think it was that late considering all the game that was left, but shrugs.
Well, I'm here to say that there will be a way to get the "mega ring" far earlier than before!
So, there's another new quest that can be accepted while you're running around in the past.In the Blakeory Co. building, there's this NPC.
It seems as though Blakeory Co. is researching a new item called the Omni Ring. A device that can be used to Mega Evolve!
What is an Omni Ring? Well it's a new item that Champions is introducing that is the central item that can basically do everything. (I think it's stupid that so many mechanics exist that this even needs to be a thing, but that's a conversation for another time.) And although I like how Mega-Z Ring sounds I think it's better to follow on what official games are doing.
ANYWAYS.
In this quest, you will have to gather a few Pokémon from neighboring routes and bring them back here.
After that you get your very own Omni Ring!!!!

This is just a part one in a series of small quests. :3. Sorry, but even though im giving it out early, it won't be that early. However, that being said... You will be able to get the Omni Ring by the time you enter GDC for the first time. Though you'll need to do another quest in GDC to unlock a specific area.... hint hint.
But yeah, that's all! Testing is still going well. Shoutout to Moonpaw for making SOOOO many backsprites and vs sprites and... well if it werent for Moon we'd be in a lot of trouble :D.
