Beta is going well! We are wrapping things up. Nothing too crazy. Still a lot of issues, but theyre all teetering the "extremely minor" category. Love that!
Btw did we all hear about Deltarune's release date being June 24th? Definitely wasn't trying to make the same date or something similar... Well, anyways...
v14 update! I went ahead and spoke about beta going well. Nothing too crazy to really talk about there? Other than me giving tons of people mental psychosis at once, ofc. But that's normal!
Let's talk about a few things! There are a TON of stuff I worked on during beta because my team has been So Awesome, which allowed me to clean up a lot of things that needed attention!
Both the Summary Menu and the PC got UI upgrades! Not only that but the Pokédex as well!
Eagle eyed patrons will also notice something about that first image with the box. Silvally's icon is different! Well, that's because Silvally got custom shiny sprites for Rejuv finally! Courtesy of MoonPaw and Omens :). They are amazing!
By the way, remember when I said I took feedback during the Beta Testing period and decided to do some work on a past area? Well, actually, I can't remember if I said if I did that, but it happened! And that would be Valor Cliffside and the Summit.
I had planned on redoing the summit only for Valor Mt. during .5's production, but by the time I was done with Terajuma I physically could not work on Terajuma any longer and it stayed as is. That's why the conclusion of the Terajuma arc still felt weird, cause it was using the old Terajuma's format. With like, the littlest of text edits to carry it over. But no, yeah. I completely redid the story up here from scratch. Major plot beats the same, ofc. But there may be a new boss here as well...
From feedback, the changes seem WIDELY popular and I'm so so excited for you guys to eventually see it. I really went all out on the production here.
Lesse... Ah yeah, some other characters finally got proper VS sprites! (Disregard the location for some of these, I'm calling them through debug mode because I am LAZY)
Trying to see if there's anything else... I mean, I'm sure there is but I don't wanna give it all away especially when we are THIS close.
But yeah, things are wrapping up nicely. I hope to get v14 out soon so I can finally take a break (we all know I wont.
