I said before that Route 4 was Rejuvenation's take on the Wild Area, and while not everything can hope to possibly match a 3D game, I think we're offering a solid version of it.
[Before I continue, I must stress that Route 4 is something that will be built upon more and more with upcoming versions. So while v13's release may be pretty basic, it will become much more in subsequent versions.]
In v13, we return to the shadows... With Rift Dens!

What are Rift Dens?
Rift Dens are similar to Max Raid Dens, however they do not contain Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokémon. Rift Dens contain Shadow Pokémon.
As of v13 there are 4 dens that are available to the player. in v13.5 this will extent to (approximately 10).
Shadow Pokémon in Rift Dens do not require the Snag Machine as they are wild Pokémon. They turn into Shadows upon capture.
Shadow Pokémon in Rift Dens require you to take their health down to at least 25% before capture.
Rift Dens will randomly activate once day and reset at Midnight.
Red Beams indicate standard Shadow Mons.
Blue Beams indicate rare Shadow Mons. Blue Beams will drop higher amounts of Red Essence.
Rift Dens allow the player to capture a larger amount of Shadow Pokémon, and with new Shadow Pokémon comes new moves and combinations! Not only that, but Shadow Pokémon you have missed will show up in certain Dens.
Upon completing a Rift Den, the player will be awarded material called Red Essence. Successfully capturing or knocking out the Pokémon within the Den will award full amount of Red Essence.
Red Essence can be used in a shop located on Route 4 for special prizes! These includes scents (Used to lower Heart Gauges), cool trinkets, and New moves!
Like the Wild Area in Galar, there are also items that respawn daily, and reset at Midnight. They can be found with these sparkles found on the ground.

v13 Update
Hi! the Main Story of v13 was completed a few weeks ago! It's currently undergoing massive amounts of testing! Battles have not fully been configured, but we are getting there! There a lot of things I have to return to and fix up, and work on (Like Route 4), but I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Please just be a bit more patient with us!
