Yeah - it's too hot out, isn't it?
Too hot inside... might as well go with it.
I had this little 2 panel comic I sketched out back in January of 2025 of Andrea destroying Jake. Felt like it really showed the core essence of their relationship of Big Woman and Normal Guy (Well, Normal-ish).But as usual, I let good ideas get away from me - until I suddenly want to practice comic-making in preparation for a much, much large comic. Biggest thing I learned is that I'm not going to shade the thing. Also, a few other things - planning pages and layout, panel creep, etc.
Anyways, I realized I haven't really ever drawn Andrea with an expression other that smug bedroom eyes. Sorta fun to see what I can do with her. Never really drawn her being forceful and maybe a little dumb. I think of her as being pretty level-headed, almost having that "chill wisdom" persona. Fairly confident and in-control. But going out to see her friend "GoodRaccDick" during a heatwave - during her OWN heatwave? Well, mistakes happen - and can be fun.
Just an idea I cobbled together around the middle page. Struggled to keep it contained, but comics can bloat easily I guess. Spent 35-40 hours on it, which isn't really what I want to be doing, so I'm going to scale down the polish + quality to something more manageable.
Enjoy Andrea squishing Jake.
