I haven't painted these yet but thought you might like a peek at the first steps.
Here's the original sketch.
A sketch of a sleepy or stoned man.
Here he is with gradients, ready to render.
This one below was inspired by congressman Matt Gaetz.
If ever there was a man who looked like a caricature of what you'd imagine a corrupt politician to look like it's him. "Central casting" as our president would say.
I did a better caricature of him a couple weeks later.
I still can't make his eyes look quite as evil as they appear in real life.
He looks like he's possessed.
Scary, huh?
