hi my lovely rotterlings <3
i bring with me a little extra message, right before the kickstarter starts.
when i first launched killer chat! on october 1st, 2024, i wasn't expecting at all the reception that it got. i wasn't expecting much of anything, really: coming off the tail end of gluttony gods (which had only about 1k views, at the time, and even less plays) and seraphim slum (which broached about 5k plays on steam), i wasn't a very successful game dev by any means.
the explosive growth of killer chat! was so genuinely shocking. and extremely heartening, in knowing that there were people (like you!) who like what i write and love the stories that i tell. and it's especially heartening, to see those of you who have jumped from killer chat! to explore my other games, too.
it's really odd to have come so far, and i am so grateful for all of your support in bringing me and the team up to this moment, in loving killer chat! and my other games c: it means the world every time i get to talk to you guys here, in the comments and q&a's and the discord, just feeling the sheer care and appreciation you have for the stories and characters i make.
the thought of not getting funded is quite scary, but i also know that when there's a will, there's a way: and we will figure out a way if the kickstarter doesn't succeed.
finally i'll leave you with a few extras! these images will be showcased soon on kickstarter, but you are my angelic rotterlings, so here's a tiny token of my appreciation :3

as always, i am so immensely grateful for your support! and whatever happens tomorrow, i'm just happy to have you along this ride with me. we'll keep telling rotten stories c:
