Ok, so this is a weird one. Let me kinda walk you through what I've done.
TLDR; I inserted a new page a couple pages back and I'm sorry.
So I'm still trying to shake off the rust of comic making. And coming back to it is making me remember all the parts I find really hard and a bunch of new problems are cropping up alongside that. So I've been struggling with it a bit. Maybe more than a bit. And in one of those struggles I decided to cut out a page that was mostly Mack just kinda swimming around the water to bridge the gap between his reappearance and swimming up to the dam. I told myself I could just add some of that in to later pages as flavor so I skipped over it and went on my merry way.
Except it kinda threw me way, way off. I generally keep OOTB very loose (yes, on purpose) but I have a general idea of where I'm going with the next handful of page layouts and I got knocked off-kilter. And it was bothering me enough that I figured I'd have to fix it or I wouldn't be happy with it. So that's what I did. Here's your new page 16 and corrections to the pages that follow. Which took just as long to do a new page believe it or not. Still not 100% happy with it but I gotta learn to just put my pen down and let things be. The flow is better at least. To me. Especially the color flow. And I know it's a bad time to do this too. Right when the comic's picking back up and when it's mostly been silently moving the plot along. I'll try to get the next page up really, really soon to make up for it and I'm gonna skip out on updating publicly til then because I don't think that would be fair to yall. And I know I'm extremely fickle but I promise I won't make a habit of doing this. It was just bothering me that much. In my mind I kinda think of OOTB as this rough, unfinished thing but I really don't want to think of you guys as like, proofreaders.
That's a lot of words for something that ultimately most of yall won't even be bothered about but all that to say, sorry it's not the real next page. Hopefully Mack rolling around in the grass is a small comfort in these dark, dark times I've created.
