I just have to say, I am not a my-own-horn-tooting kind of guy but I think this is one of the best things I've ever drawn that didn't directly depict a literal blueberry girl. I am beyond proud of this, and I'd love to know your thoughts if you have any. Artists are notorious for being their own worst critics, but I keep staring at this with googoo eyes. lol Happy birthday to me indeed!
Edit: OH! I nearly forgot! This particular look is a direct reference to the Daicon IV opening animation from 1983. I watched it nearly 20 years ago now and it's been a wonderful nostalgic thing for me for just as long. It introduced me to my favorite album of all time (where the main song comes from, and which I got for myself on vinyl for my birthday a few weeks ago yay), but also the new age artist that opens the video, Kitaro. Enjoy if you've never seen it!
