DESCRIPTION
Directly inspired by recent readings of Mayan culture- but i wanted to make these sun/moon characters my own- originally started as a continuation of a concept but it mutated into what you see here. Xibalanque is described as being the more animalistic of the two in appearance, ruling the night as the moon, and Hunhapu, the personification of the sun. I wanted to add medieval knighthood elements to the armor and weaponry of the latter. Mixing cultures, crossing over with overlapping design elements is what i want to do more often.
