Dear all users of Kiosk V3

We regret to inform you that, effective today, the Kiosk V3 demo service starts to be gradually discontinued. V3 service—including file hosting—will no longer be accessible.

The Kiosk V4 OBT service will remain available.

To ensure smooth service, we plan to update the backend and infrastructure of V4 in the near future. We're also committed to accelerating the development of V4-exclusive client software.

We apologize to be the one to break this news to you. We promise you to focus on our remaining services to improve them more than usual.

Reason for Service Ending

Concerns over Financial Sustainability

• Including the period from April to May, excessive data uploads and hosting usage recently occured resulted in infrastructure overage charges.

• Continued overage charges are expected through July due to existing stored data.

• Given our current financial status, sustaining these extra expenses could force a complete shutdown of all projects in the near future.

Therefore, we have decided to advance the schedule of shuting down legacy services, including Kiosk V3. Unlike previous service terminations process, some collections will be deleted right after one week-grace period.

We understand that this sudden announcement may cause inconvenience. However, we kindly ask for your understanding, as this decision was necessary to ensure the continued operation of V4 and other services.

Important Notice for Kiosk V3 Users

Collections created through the Kiosk V3 demo service will be handled differently depending on their creation date. Please ensure you download any necessary files to your local device before they will be deleted.

• Collections created on or before May 16, 2025:
  Will be deleted and become inaccessible as of June 7, 2025.

• Collections created from May 17 to May 30, 2025:
  Will be hosted normally until they are expired as set.

Service Shutdown Schedule

1. Current

• The upload feature of Kiosk V3 is now out of service.

2. June 7, 2025 23:59

• Collections created before May 17, 2025 will be deleted.

3. After June 8, 2025 00:00

• Remaining V3 collections will remain accessible until their individually set expiration dates.

• Once expired, all collections will be permanently deleted.

4. Final Stage: Kiosk V3 Website Shutdown

• Visiting the kiosk.ac domain will redirect users to a page informing service termination and Kiosk V4.
