DESCRIPTION
One year ago, we were suffering under the weight of a heavy, cruel heat wave, here in northern Italy; it was so bad that I had no other choice but to shoot deep into the night. On work days, me and my husband would take a "nap" after dinner, and wake up at midnight to go out and take photos. This year, the heat wave came and went in June, so this month feels just the way Summer used to feel when I was a kid. Nobody knows how long this will last, but I think we're all learning to cherish these moments of nostalgic bliss. So I went outside in the early afternoon, got eaten by a hundred mosquitoes, but managed to capture some good light <3 I was wearing a dress my mum bought me when I was 12 or something; felt great!
