Hello!
No Effort November will be kicking off with the culmination of a project that has been months in the making - making an excellent joke, if I do say so myself.

So, here's the thing: a lot of this video talks about a product I was involved (sorta) in creating. But you'll notice there really isn't an ad-read or anything like that - I believe this story is interesting enough to stand on its own, and my personal stake in it comes from what we've proven with the help of a testing lab.
Just like with the socks, I'm not making money from this project. Of course I hope plenty of folks buy this detergent because it will raise money for charity, but I am mainly interested in the point it proves. We decided not to name the Big Name Brand we tested against as this let me be a little spicier when it comes to my allusions, but let's just say that messaging on the back of that box which I may have in the past cynically suggested is steering people towards a more profitable product doesn't seem like such a tinfoil hat suggestion anymore. My personal experience of getting consistently better results with store brands might not be in my head.
For those interested in the detergent, here's a link (some of you have already discovered it!):https://good.store/products/dishwasher-powder
This is the last part of my collaboration with Good Store, so I won't be pushing anything else after this I promise! But like I said, I think this video is a perfect capstone to the Dishwasher Saga and, well, I was annoyed how hard it's getting to find good powders. So why not be a part of fixing that! And hopefully the idea spreads.
Captions and the second channel video will come tomorrow. I was planning to have this video done before Halloween but the discovery of the cycle behavior pushed me to working through the weekend and now I would like to have a pizza.
