Howdy!
Bit of an esoteric video this time - one that's been long in the making but I was struggling to make gel into a script. In the end I decided to be OK with what this really is: commentary with a bit of "here's some neat stuff!" mixed in.
I'm making a nuanced argument here which tends to go great on the internet but hopefully people will realize this video is about audio cues but what it's really about is intentional design and the proliferation of false choices/binary thinking. Today's view of audible alerts feels to me like a microcosm of that and I wanted to explore it. You can decide whether I did it coherently!
I've been working against a travel deadline which is why I ended up not doing a livestream last weekend. I would like to do one in April so unless things change, I'll schedule one for the 18th.
