Katos now appears in the forest after you return to the snowy mountains... the same old place, you know.
In order to trigger its interest, you need to get the language book about it.
If the campside exists in your game, you can get it during 【Chet's Inspiration time】. Otherwise, you can buy it at Chet's bookstall by coins.
【Book - Boss Bull vs Boss Slime Vol. 1 】
This book can be clicked in the inventory to start reading.

Added options to open the backpack and status screen in sub-maps.
Added a new merchant in the camp.
Rogue Lizards now have a very small chance to drop a new accessories.
Implemented difficulty-based drop rates.
Changed the debuff icon for Murphy’s Hand in battle.
Added a warning debuff in battle when the player's COR ≥ 80.
Now can escape from the battle with shroomberus.
