We've been digging out from the most recent storm. We got hit for 18 inches of very dense, wet snow. Lost at least one tree, and old dogwood that all four kids climbed in. It will be missed and I'll be planting another. A lot of limbs down in our yard, and it seems a lot of heavy, snow-packed limbs on utility wires.It was coming down heavy Sunday night, with a lot of wind. Early Monday AM was sort of cool, with the wind moaning as I was trying to write. Then, the repeated thrumms and booms of overloading transformers filled the night. The third time power went down, I went to bed. We were without for most of day, and I'm playing catch up tonight, thankful everything is back on.I'll be back to work tomorrow, but it's going to be very slow and I'll be working Tue/Wed to get some chapters out.
