Here’s Hibana, a Fire Unicorn for Lunar New Year (it’s the Year of the Fire Horse this year).It was technically yesterday … but it’s never too late for burning passion🔥
I hesitated to add glowing lava cracks on her legs, so maybe I’ll develop her more later if inspiration hits. I mainly wanted to learn a few things while rendering the fire, and to test a new idea: hair that melts into lava at the tips. It was really fun to experiment with and learn from. I hope you’ll like her!This was mainly a relaxing piece to help me slowly get back into drawing, so for now she only has a name: Hibana 火花 (sparks / fireworks) , a fire deity.See ya for the next one, I hope that those who celebrate had a great Lunar New Year! 💜
