This week I have for y’all another ‘true angel,’ the Voz! If you’re like me, you’ve heard a lot about how angels are actually terrifying beings, and I wanted to extend this a little bit and really lean into the incomprehensibility of eldritch horror and bring it to religious theming! Specifically the Voz is all about speaking in the true voice of God, something that is incomprehensible and unknowable yet understandable at a base level, striking, and terrifying in its familial familiarity.
