I like the echo-y beginning, the way the chorus sounds like traffic, and the nod to sentimental value in objects. When you leave something behind in someone’s place you miss it more than you would have if you had just lost it… MAYBE. Depends on how much you like that thing. But the fact that it’s with a person you’re not with anymore makes it special in a way. A small little connection you still have with them, whether it be good or bad. No?
