Well.. fuck. It's been a while, aye? Time sure does fucking fly. I truthfully did not intend to be gone this long, and I could dive into a bunch of reasons as to why I had to take time off writing, but it was a little bit of everything. Summer fling, took too many credits in the fall, part-time job was kicking my ass, writing block was also kicking my ass, traveling, family, etc. Life basically.
But we're back. Full throttle. My classes this semester are not as crazy, so I'll have a lot more free time to focus on writing without feeling burnt out. Part of the reason my break was so long was because I didn't want to come back unless I truly thought I could put out some quality and consistent works, and I feel like there now.
With that said, things around here will be changing a little bit. I'm simplifying a few things. For starters, there's only going to be two patron tiers. I'm basically combining the lowest two tiers, but I'll post an updated Expectations page with more details.
Regarding billing, that's starting back up as well, but you'll keep your recurring date if you never cancelled. So if you were always charged on the 16th, you won't get charged again until 2/16.
The discord will be changing as well, mainly to focus on writing collaborations, idea discussions, story sharing, and characters specific to my stories. It spiraled a little past that so I'll be cleaning it up a bit to prevent distractions.
Also, I will be prioritizing DMs to be responded to within 24 hours. I've slacked on that in the past, so I'll try to emphasize getting you guys responses within a meaningful timeframe. Past DMs have been cleared, so please resend them if you'd like to chat or if you have any questions!
And now, to the meat of the bone. Streamers and a Stud. See how I put this at the bottom to make sure you read everything else? Fucking gotcha. Anyways, the new chapter is not finished, and I'm going to stop trying to finish whole chapters before posting them. I'm going to reach a good milestone and then post what I have, then once full chapters are done, they'll be set to go public, giving you guys extra time to enjoy them first.
Since the last post of SAAS, I've added 15k words and somehow, we're still on Emiru. Her plotline has taken quite a dark turn that even I didn't expect. 10k of that will be going up shortly (in the next 10-15 mins) for the Stud tier and in the afternoon of 2/1 for the Supporter tier. The remaining 5k and whatever I add in the coming week will be posted next Friday 2/7, mainly so I can put some finishing touches on it and stagger out these posts in my first month back. Weekly updates will be my goal, even if it's just updates.
On a finishing note, I feel like this genre has died as far as new stories go, and I am going to do my best to revive it. Single-handedly if I must. There's been far too little corruption, degradation, and depravity going on and I won't stand for it. Strap in folks!
