The spectrum of allies is a spectrum that boxes people, groups, businesses, govt, and others parties into a place on the spectrum. This basic analysis allows propagandists to accomplish targeted action and propaganda with desired effects of the specific audience. Further it helps lay out where you need to move a group to next (one inch closer to you)
Groupings on this spectrum consist of
Active allies: people who agree with and fight with you
Passive allies: agree with you but no action
Neutral: fence sitters, or unengaged
Passive opposition: disagree but no action
Active opposition
