Winter train - How did this map take over a year to release?

DESCRIPTION

Two years ago, I had a simple idea:

I wanted to build a locomotive.

I love trains. The weight of steel, the power, the romance of movement. And I told myself — one day, I’ll create not just one train, but a whole collection. Ten designs. Maybe more. And I’ll share them with you.

So I started sculpting this locomotive piece by piece — combining different elements, shaping the body, refining the details. Then came the night version. Then the driver’s cabin. At that point, it felt finished.

“Just make some variations and release it,” I thought.But that wasn’t enough.I wanted it to move.

So I built the animation — steam breathing into the cold air, metal alive with motion. And honestly? It turned out better than I expected. Seeing it in motion changed everything.

The animation was done. The map was playable.

And still… I hesitated. I wanted more variations. More polish. More ideas.

But today — I’m finally releasing the first locomotive.
