I should update this a little since there's been a change to his name and now he will be Gilford Spade rather than King (Spade being Ollie's last name)
Gil hasn't had opportunity to shine yet, but what you should know about him is that he's both a jock and a nerd! I wanted him to be wide, but still read as athletic and not bulky or imposing, so I went with the very broad shoulder dorito build. He's a bit inspired by Eddie Brock without the villainous streak.
He's one of those characters that I created with the intention of enriching someone else's backstory, Ollie's in this case. I grew attached to him and upgraded him to have a little more relevancy. Both him and Ollie are estranged due Ollie's difficulty processing his brother's (Gil's dad) passing and all the events prior to that happening. Gil wants to know more about his dad from his uncle and also be closer to his dad's side of the family.
He has amazing memories of summer camping in Dion Falls and that's where he met his best friends for life, Oddie, Buddy and Leo. The four of them reunited back in town thanks to circumstance, Gil will have his friends to lean on while he tries to get in touch with Ollie. Not that he would ever show emotional weakness to his friends, Gil prides himself in being strong enough to weather anything, he will stay positive! However that can lead him to be a little insensitive to other people's pain, it all comes from him bottling up his emotions surrounding his dad's death. He never means to dismiss anyone's feelings.
Gil alongside Eli are characters that I definitely want to develop more, even if I haven't put Ollie in the spotlight as of late, his family members have become characters that I care a lot for!
