Pacing

So, I got a single comment on AO3 that Magiscape, while good, is very slow-paced. And I was surprised by that, because I've tried to make big things happen in almost every chapter so it remains interesting and doesn't feel like a boring filler. What are your thoughts since you all have read at least the first six chapters? Should I increase the pace?
