Hey everyone! Happy holidays and happy new year in advance! Like I did last year, this is an annual retrospective that I have at the end of each year to look back on what I accomplished this year and what I've got planned for next year!
Looking back at 2025
Starting with this year, 2025 was BY FAR better than last year in my opinion. I got a fair bit done this year, with my greatest accomplishment being FINALLY finishing Sequence Zero's first issue! It's the first comic I've ever finished and I'm so happy at how it came out. Despite all its flaws, I can't be prouder of that comic. Honestly, Robotboy and Jenny was what put me on the map, and so many of you enjoyed the story (even though it took a few years >-<)!
Regardless, I thank those that stuck around to the end. I wouldn't have been able to finish the comic without you guys' unending support. I truly do appreciate every month you stay supporting me. With how crazy of a year it's been, finding any space in your budget to support me monthly or annually is an act of kindness I am eternally grateful for. Thank you, seriously.
Sequence Zero #1 pages are still coming out publicly, and as things are now the first issue IS complete. The final page will come out on the first week of February 2026. Due to technical limitations I am currently unable to update my website with all the new pages, but once the comic finishes the whole thing will be on my website for easy reading.
I also dropped my first animation in a long time! Jewel! I'll talk more about Timeless in a moment, but I'm super happy with how this short loop came out. I know I don't animate often as my focus is on comics, but I'd love to do more of these in the future! It honestly depends on how much support I get moving forward, so if you guys would like to see more animations, let me know, and consider pledging if you aren't already!
I locked in during the month of November, experimenting with Patreon-focused content and a new release schedules, and I think it did really well! I still have yet to update my archive sites with the new art, like Pixiv and Newgrounds (I DID just get my Pixiv account back a few months ago), but I'll get around to that in the coming weeks.
My breakout posts during November were Anne, Marcy, and Marie! Honestly wasn't expecting it! And don't worry, I'll figure out a way to get a Sasha pic out next year to complete the trio! :) Kim + Roxie and Lady Bone Demon will also drop next year as well, so look out those, too.
I also experimented with my first exclusive post with Sonic and Surge! I didn't have many expectations for it, but it sold three units! That's better than nothing! :D
I'm still uncertain on the effectiveness of standalone sales when it comes to exclusive content, so I may or may not test the waters again in the future, but thanks to those who pledged or bought the Stack! As always, I really appreciate the support!
Overall, this was a decent year! Again, MUCH better than 2024. I've implemented new scheduling techniques to keep me on track and evolved my art style, and I plan on continuing to grow into the future. My goal is to get better with each year, and I have high hopes for 2026! :D
Plans for 2026
Now let's look to said future. What do I have cooking for next year? Well, right off the bat, 2026 will be a primarily comic-focused year with three major projects:
Timeless: Play the Part #2 (Jewel & Duo)
Sequence Zero: Prototype #1 - #3 (Brit and Tiff Crust)
Alaine (Original Series)
TIMELESS & PLAY THE PART
The first quarter of the year had one of my biggest single releases, that being Timeless' Play the Part #1! Honestly, it was just going to be an image set at first - but when I got the idea to add Jewel in the last page, I knew I had to get to work on the next issue.
Over the summer I was diligently working on the next installment of the Play the Part series I started with Lanolin earlier this year. And things were turning out great, and still are!
Currently, the comic's pretty close to getting out of pre-production, despite me diverting my focus back into completing Sequence Zero near the end. If everything works out, I'll be pushing forward into full production with Play the Part #2 in February.
But let me let you guys in on a bit of what was going on behind the scenes since production started.
I had originally wanted to plan an overarching story with Timeless, something a little more dramatic. But after going back and forth with Silver (my lead writer and editor) I ultimately decided against it in favor of saving that lore for an SFW Sonic project instead - I won't speak about it here, though.
At some point, Play the Part was going to be a FOUR issue story arc. The original Issue #3 was going to be a super action-heavy installment, where Tangle and Whisper team up with Rough and Tumble to thwart Eggman and Omelette from hacking into the "Restoration Archives" and stealing a bunch of critical data...while also searching for CCTV footage for proof of Lanolin and Jewel messing around with Duo so they can confront them about their flings...only to have some fun of their own with him after seeing all the footage Tails recovered. :p
I actually was so hyped about the idea of Issue #3 that I had already planned all the covers! Here, I'll let you look at 'em:
Did ya spot the special guest? :p Yeah, that issue was gonna go CRAZY. But there's a cutting room floor for a reason. I want to share these anyway, so these covers will also be released publicly shortly so everyone can see 'em!
Moving forward, I'd like to focus on short sex-focused stories that come in three issue installments spotlighting a myriad of relationships in mostly self-contained scenarios (Sonic & Surge, Tails & Sticks, Tikal & The Knuckles Clan — just to name a few I have planned). I do plan to have some connections between the arcs in the form of cameos and references, but nothing super crazy.
Here's the new plan for Play the Part: after Jewel & Duo have their fun in Issue #2, the revised Issue #3 will go straight to the Clean Sweepstakes Arc. Tangle and Whisper finally get their turn with Duo during the extreme gear festival, and some more Lanolin and Jewel action thrown in there for good measure with a few other sneaky cameos from other characters. You'll just have to wait and see who'll show up!
As for the release cadence for Timeless projects, issues may be a fair bit longer than my standard 24-page limit for comics, So I'm aiming to make Timeless an annual release, with the pages of a single issue releasing over the course of the year, and the full public release dropping on my website after the comic's complete. I intend on having #2 finished before the end of 2026, and #3 in 2027.
Tier III will have exclusive access to pages as they're finished, and they'll remain exclusive for a time. I'll have more details about public releases at a later date!
SEQUENCE ZERO: PROTOTYPE - SIMULACRUM ARC
You guys may or may not remember that the Crust Cousins are also getting their own spin-off series that takes place in the same "universe" - or "Jennyverse," as Silver calls it - which is the term I'll use when referring to both "Sequence Zero" and "Sequence Zero: Prototype" from here on.
For 2026, I'll be working on Sequence Zero: Prototype's first storyline, the Simulacrum Arc! A three issue story arc that introduces the Crust Cousins and how they were affected by the Resonance Wave after the events of Sequence Zero #1, AND how their first encounter with an infamous Robotboy antagonist, a robot calling itself "Proto," takes a steamy turn.
Prototype will have a fair bit more action in it than Sequence Zero, but don't worry there'll be some steamy parts as well!
The release cadence for this project is a completed issue every four months, with the first month for scriptwriting and preproduction, and the remaining three months for the actual publication and release.
Like with Timeless, Tier III will have exclusive access to pages as they're finished. More details on a public release schedule soon!
ALAINE
Along with all the fan works I've been churning out, I've been really working to try and come up with something more original for a while now. Lots of potential projects have come and gone, and I just couldn't find a solid concept. It didn't help that I didn't have much of a reason or drive to push original content since things like Sequence Zero and Timeless were doing so well. But my perspective changed when I introduced Alaine.
You guys LOVED Alaine.I was honestly taken aback by all the support she got, it blindsided me. Again, I never really had faith in my ability to create OCs, so this was a fine surprise! I then decided to make an effort to do more with her, so I'm working on a comic series for her, as well!Silver and I are still working out all the details, but we have the first four issues planned out and ready for scripting. Compared to Prototype and Timeless, "Project Alaine" won't happen for a while, but I plan to release art pertaining to Alaine and her world throughout 2026, so I hope you guys can look forward to that! :D

And that marks the end of this year's retrospective! I'm really excited for my next steps and wish to sharpen my creative abilities and increase comic quality, as well as working on being more consistent and confident in my work. Again, things are really tough for artists right now, but I don't intend on ceasing or changing how I create content. I love drawing. I love telling stories. And while I may not be as good as I would like to be yet, I know if I just tune out the doomposting and fearmongering and focus on what's important, I'll get there.
It's been a crazy couple of years, and I wholly expect that the craziest years are still yet to come. Thank you all again for sticking with me through all of it, and I hope we can welcome the new year together.
