Soooo does anyone remember when I made a tweet saying something like "Oni's introduction will be the stress test for whether or not Kitsune & Buni ends up going the way of 'darker and lore-heavier' later on?"
Yeah, this is why
I've thought about all the future arcs and stories I have planned and none of them get as "dark" as this again which I suppose is a good thing, or a bad thing depending on what you’re in to. Oni's backstory was also pretty much finalized years ago too, so another straightforward set of pages.
