Hey everyone, Jason here. So many changes in recent months and I know some of you are on discord and catch a lot of it, but some are more out of the loop. So I'll quickly summarize.
We are moving our games to tiny boxes, with cute little library catalog style envelopes inside.
Wallets are available separately for the new games. Right now we're doing it at Kickstarter as a secret reward for all of you, but looking into extra ways to do it.
Wallets are not currently available for the boxed game reprints (like Sprawlopolis for example), but we're looking at ways to offer them.
And with all of the above, our website is getting a little bit of a revamp. We're starting to feature the boxed games alongside of what we are calling the "classic wallet games", but the coupon codes here will likely change a bit due to the complexity of various products.
We'll try to make sure that you always have a monthly site discount code for the classic wallet games, and if that changes in any way I will let you know.But the new thing we're trying to do, is to simply give you a better price on all of the boxed games. They each come with a game and expansion and will retail for $18. The current best price we are offering is $15 at Kickstarter (and slightly less if you buy a very specific bundle). Most of our coupon codes will drop them down to close to $15. We want the standard price for Patrons to be $13. You simply get to buy games for cheaper than everyone else. :)
Now, you will get the 4 new featured games anyway (Astro ROVE, The Rise Of A Jarl, Everything Machine, Shaper), but we're reprinting quite a few to kick things off, then reprinting 3 more games with each campaign, so newer patrons will likely not have everything already.
So you will get a coupon code that works on as many as you want to order, and you get them at $13. This isn't limited to one purchase per month, or one per order, etc. It also doesn't impact hitting the free shipping threshold (although that was overdue to go up and is currently at $50 US). So you can really go wild with these codes.
We will likely change the code regularly to prevent misuse, or we may need to add you as a customer to a specific group in Shopify to really prevent it. We may also need to delay it for new patrons so they don't join, get the code and split.
But for now, let's try it out. The coupon code is BOXESFORWALLETS and works for everything in the collection linked below. It's getting $2 off of the $15 preorder price, and we'll figure out how to give $5 off of the standard once the prices are raised.
