I came across this letter dated from the 1900s written by Richard Feynman to his deceased wife (she passed from TB). They were a young married couple, still in their 20s. Even the small detail of their age gives me hope that true love is not restrained to being found in one's later years, that it doesn't have to develop into a strong bond, but can be one from early on. It just depends on the people. And these seem to have been two lovely people with a lovely love between them.
"You, dead, are so much better than anyone else alive."
Such a seemingly sad line renders nothing more than beautiful to me. Thus, I decided to read this love letter out to you. For it sounds more like poetry than anything else.
Such a beautiful expression of love still given life even after one's death.
And that last line the letter concludes with was a cute little addition, humorous and bittersweet even.
