As I'm nearing completion on the Fate x Trinity short, I've come to a bit of a realization. I'm spreading myself too thin trying to do too many things to keep up maintenance. Between big animated projects, smaller animations, commissions, personal illustrations, fanart polls etc. I'm finding myself unable to keep up. Because I can't focus exclusively on animated projects, completion timeframes end up ballooning out of control and what was supposed to take only a few months ended up taking over a year to finish.
If I want to be able to put more time into making more animated things at a better pace for you all then I'll have to do less commissions. And if I want to do less commissions then I'll have to depend a little harder on patreon/substar income to stay afloat (rising cost of living has not made that easy). Which ultimately means that I'll have to make some changes
So my plan at this time isn't to necessarily increase any tier prices, but to move all future animations both wip and finished to the $7 and $10 tiers exclusively. Everything else will stay the way it has been for now.
It's important to note that all animations currently posted as well as the Fate x Trinity short will still be available to $3 and $5 supporters. After that has been posted however future animations will be exclusive to the $7 and $10 tiers
I understand this change may result in some people leaving but I feel like this is something I have to do to be able to focus more on animating without burning myself out trying to do too many things at once. For anyone who does plan to end their support, I appreciate all of the support up to this point. I never would have been able to make it this far if not for you guys. You will still be able to see the things I make when they are released publicly
