- JID's general versatility in working with a live band as well as he works with producers makes me appreciate his artistry even more
- i wish they would release like a fully transposed special edition of TFS with this band, it would be so chill
Stick afterthoughts:
- incredible hype, I'm both terrified and ecstatic to hear it live
- still so funny that this threw me off so bad after listening to the tiny desk lmfao

- the editing of this music video is incredible, there are a lot of really quick transitions i appreciate a lot
- the camera and colour grading also give it such a gritty, crisp mood
- even though the instrumental sounds a little repetitive, it helps highlight how different each rapper's flow is! love that
Down Bad afterthoughts:
- probably my least favourite of what we watched tonight but still really excited about dipping my toes into the rest of Dreamville with this one :)
- some of the lines in here are fantastic on first listen, can't wait to actually read them later
- the punchlines in this one stick out a lot (the brown v board of education reference took me out 🤯)
- the repetitive high-pitched sample is really old school, it was bothering me a little though just because of how squeaky it is, but that's just the style i guess
