Anyway, merry Christmas and happy holidays! If you don't celebrate anything, just know I hope you all had a good 2025 and will have an even better 2026. I know the holiday season can be weird. If this time is happy for you, I hope it's really happy and you enjoy the company of your friends and/or family. If it's complicated or exhausting, like it sometimes can be, just be kind to yourself. Know that there are always people who support you and want the best for you.
Also, thanks for being such a supportive community! For those who've donated monetarily and become Patrons, you're basically responsible for this game's ongoing development. For the playtesters who have to catch hundreds of my typos, thank you too! Even if you're yet another jesswive in love with the head cheerleader, I appreciate it.
Okay, that's enough about Christmas.
As for progress? Uh... Okay, so I've been writing a lot, I swear. But the update just keeps getting bigger. I'm currently at 48.6k words, which is a LOT. That's longer than Fahrenheit 451, for reference. I just keep getting more ideas. This was meant to be a short update, 30-40k words, and I was planning on getting it out today. But that hasn't happened. I'll try my hardest to get it done before the year wraps up, but otherwise expect it early January.
