i can't believe tiktok is getting removed in the u.s! my favorite procrastination tool is being ripped out of my hands, and for what?!? that's crazy that other social media apps can steal my data, yet tiktok can't? i do not CARE if my data is being stolen by tiktok. my life isn't all that spectacular. all they're going to find is that i make roleplay audios for people on the internet! i hate it i hate it.

i was one of the people who got on tiktok relatively late. my preconception of tiktok was it was for cringey content, but oh boy was i wrong. the content i found on tiktok, is something i cant get anywhere else.

all the recipes that i've been using for the past 6 months, they mostly from tiktok. yeah i can find recipes online, but seeing them from small creators makes it so much better. i also get to see outfit inspirations, gym content, history, news, and everything. it's such a simple way for me to consume media. the tiktok algorithm cannot be replicated, and i'm sad to see it go away.

to the people outside of the u.s, i hope you enjoy tiktok without us! i'm hungry, i'm going to go eat something nom nom.
