Hello, Space Cowboys!~
I just wanted to give you all a quick update on how the Herta animation is coming along... and surprise! She’ll have custom voice acting, just like Lauma! I’m also trying something completely new with the flow of this animation, and I think you guys are really going to love it!~
The VA sent me her lines today and they're just... wow; she absolutely blew me away!She's nailed Herta’s tone perfectly & trust me, you’re all in for a treat!
Here’s a little peek at what’s likely the final look of the animation:
I’m currently polishing the last few details — butt jiggles, facial expressions, and some final tweaks — but the animation is basically ready! I’ll be sending a WIP version to my audio guy today so the SFX can be added while I finish the last touches~If everything stays on track, Herta will be released this weekend!
After that, I’ll be moving straight into the Yae Miko animation… and after giving it some thought, I’m excited to announce that it will be a longer animation, similar in scale to Lauma!Going forward, I’m thinking of making “longer videos” the standard for all poll winners~
I have some BIG plans for Yae, and I might even use her animation to set up the next character after her… we can’t let Ei get too jealous now, can we?~
And since it’ll be a larger project, I’m considering giving myself three weeks to work on it (just like Lauma!) so I can polish it properly and deliver something truly special for you. So TLDR; just like Lauma, the Yae animation will take 3 weeks of production & If this pacing feels good for everyone, I’m thinking of locking this schedule in for future poll-winner animations as well, so all poll winners will have longer/larger animations!Let me know your thoughts!~
